Mark Twain House, Hartford, Connecticut

The Mark Twain House located in Hartford, Connecticut was the home of Samuel H. Clemens for nearly 20 years. During this period, Twain wrote some of his most famous works including The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. The home is listed as a National Historic Landmark and was largely completed by 1874.
