Bowl for Kids Sake
Thank you for
supporting the UConn
Health Center's Community Medicine Team at the Bowl for Kids
Sake Funday! Team Commed with the help of Erin Winstanley,
Denise Smith, Denise's husband Chris, Denise's nieces and
nephews Chelsey, Kyle, and Courtney, the Sussmans (Jennifer,
Everett, Eli, and Ruth), Matt Cook, Devin (Matt's little
brother), and you helped raise
 for
Nutmeg Big Brother's/Big Sister's, a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization that pairs adult mentors with at-risk youth.
Everett Sussman was the high scorer with an amazing 202 points
in his first game! Way to go Everett! The Bowl for Kids Sake
event is sponsored in part by the Fox
Family Fund, Bob's Discount Furniture, AMF Silver Lanes and
Papa John's Pizza. We were able to reach and surpass our goal of
$250 in support of positive mentoring relationships for at-risk
children.
Devin and I would like to especially thank all
the bowlers for all their support in collecting pledges and coming out in
supporting this worthy cause. It means a lot to us and we had a blast!

For You" (theme from the TV show Friends), this 4 minute real audio
slide show has pictures from some of their adventures and encourages
people to sign up as a mentor. The slide show is another one of the duo's
technical productions.
